Matěj Urbánek

Mgr. Matěj Urbánek graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno in 2017, where he successfully passed the final state exams and defended his thesis on "Monistic arrangement of a joint stock company (considerations de lege ferenda)."

Matěj then worked as a junior lawyer for law firm in Brno focusing on genal practise. After passing the Bar Examination under the Czech Bar Association in 2021, he worked as an attorney at a law firm in Břeclav, focusing mainly on commercial and insolvency law.

Since January 2024, Matěj has been an attorney at DRV Legal, where he is a member of the team focused on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, financing, commercial contract law, civil law and competition law.
