Amendment to the Labour Code

On 1 January 2012 shall take effect a significant and very comprehensive amendment to the Labour Code, which brings major changes in labor relations, which should lead to the greater labour market flexibility. For example the amendment reduces redundancy payment for certain situations, regulates overtime, night and weekend work, allows a longer probationary period for management employees or regulates the possibility to conclude fixed-term employment agreement.
